Nick Garbutt is former editor of the Irish News and deputy editor of the Belfast Telegraph. He now has his own communications consultancy and has been heavily involved with the local voluntary sector for more than a decade - garnering knowledge and understanding he brings to bear as editor of Scope.
Ryan Miller spent several years on Fleet Street as a reporter and feature writer before returning home to pursue the twin interests of public policy and Northern Ireland. As well as writing as often as possible, he provides advice on PR, lobbying and other communications, and how they all fit together.
The late Patrick Sanders was a documentary cartoonist who specialised in crystallising ideas, arguments and narratives. He was an exceptional talent and will be sorely missed by staff and readers. His work on this site is a lasting tribute to our friend and colleague
